These two are so cute. Pat was very reluctant to do an engagement shoot, but he did it for Cassie! (I’m pretty sure she bribed him with a few post shoot beers). Afterwards Cassie sent me an email and assured me Pat had actually enjoyed himself. Well, I hope so! I can’t wait to film their wedding in November!

This wedding was seriously an absolute blast. These two have such loving and caring families. They are truly blessed, and they know it. Everything from getting ready through speeches through dancing was surrounded by love and celebration. I always joke that I get teary-eyed at every wedding I photograph, but during the parent dances at this one, I couldn’t keep it in. Waterworks. Aside from being ridiculously good looking, Meghan and Jon are two of the most thoughtful and caring people you’ll ever meet. Good luck to you two – You are lucky to have found each other.

This couple was one of the most fun and laid back I’ve ever had the opportunity to work with. Not once did I see Jeanelle begin to stress – even when the air conditioning in her home broke! (And, it was hot out!) Stephen had more ideas for pictures he wanted to take than any other groom I’ve seen. They were down for anything – silly, cheesy, stealth, you name it. Jeanelle’s family was so loving. As the first to get married of the FOUR sisters, the love was truly pouring out. @Jeanelle & Steve – thank you for reaching out to me and giving me the opportunity to travel to New Jersey for this gorgeous wedding.

All I can say is that even though Rachel & Mike are part of my family in some crazy modern family type of way (Rachel’s sister is my step brother’s wife..?), they made me really feel a part of the family on their wedding day. I was so honored to be asked to photograph their day, and I hope I did it justice. Rachel made an absolutely stunning bride. And, even though there was a minor fiasco with Mike’s suits pants the day before, he looked pretty good himself. The forecast called for rain, and I know other towns in the area had some bad weather – but not for us. Somehow Salem and Lynn were all clear. Congrats Rachel & Mike! I look forward to you growing the modern family in the years to come! (Baby Jillie needs some cousins to play with!) 🙂

I know I’ve been slightly slacking with updating the blog these last few weeks. I definitely have some more sessions to get up! This engagement shoot with Rachel & Mike was so much fun. The Boston Public Gardens are absolutely gorgeous! It had just finished down pouring, and so there weren’t too many people around and the weather turned into a perfect scene for the photos. This shoot was only a week and a half before their wedding! So keep an eye our for those wedding photos to be posted here later this week. And, if you want to see a preview of this gorgeous bride, you can see some photos on my Facebook page!
