Kerri & Chris met each other in high school when Kerri was a freshman and Chris was a sophomore. At the time (and to this day), Kerri and her best friend, Treva, were inseparable, so Chris made the decision to tell Treva about this little crush he had on Kerri. From there the love blossomed as the two embarked on an incredible journey together, making it through the times and phases in life that most other high school sweet hearts do not.

As Treva says in her Maid of Honor speech, there is a saying that if you love something, let it go, and if it comes back it’s yours. But, if you found a love like this, why would you ever let it go? Cheers to you Kerri & Chris for having something together that is so uniquely special. And thank you for giving me the opportunity to capture this amazing day.

Everything about this wedding was absolutely adorable. Jen and Nate are high school sweet hearts who have been planning on getting hitched for quite some time. In fact, they were already technically married before the wedding. But, the official celebration was ahh mazing. It was held in the backyard of Jen’s grandparents’ house, complete with a pond, woodsy trail, and Jennifer’s very own tree, which her and Nate were married under. Oh, and did I mention they recently had a baby girl? Chloe’s bright eyes and chubby cheeks are to die for. Besides getting caught in a crazy down pour of rain, the wedding went off without a hitch. Thank you Jen and Nate for letting Jimmy (from Prudente Photography) and I share your day with you.

For the first wedding video I shot this season, I could not have asked for a better couple to work with – nor a better looking! These two are so ridiculously cute together, you can just tell they are going to make each other so happy for the rest of their lives. Everyone in their families was so welcoming and made me feel right at home to be with Lindsay and Chris on their big day. Congratulations to you two! I can’t wait to see how your lives shape in the future. – I also have to give a big shout out to Bello Photography for being awesome photographers to work with! Check out Lindsay & Chris’s photos on their blog. And, the venue was gorgeous – Oyster Harbors Club!

As a young photographer who is just beginning a career in the wedding business, I believe I will always cherish this wedding. Deanna and Brian had seen my work, seen my wedding photos, but they knew I had never been the lead photographer at a wedding before. They hired me anyways, and I’m so thankful they trusted me enough for the job. I was very fortunate to get Kristyn Ulanday, a phenomenal photographer, to co photograph this wedding with me. I’m extremely happy with the results, and I had an amazing time. It’s great to shoot a wedding for people you have known since you were a little girl. Brian played baseball with my brother growing up, and I played basketball with his two sisters. (They were much better than me!) The way Brian looks at Deanna throughout all the photographs is truly touching, and I can’t wait to see where their lives take them.

Amanda and I went to high school together and cheered together for a couple seasons. When her and Jeff decided to take a chance on me to be my first couple to hire me for an engagement session, I was so excited (and so nervous)! We walked around Seaport by the water for this session. The sun was very bright, and it was a bit windy but overall we had a great time. Jeff was a good sport! And, they even hired me to do their wedding in August! Congratulations you two!
