I know I’ve been slightly slacking with updating the blog these last few weeks. I definitely have some more sessions to get up! This engagement shoot with Rachel & Mike was so much fun. The Boston Public Gardens are absolutely gorgeous! It had just finished down pouring, and so there weren’t too many people around […]

Everything about this wedding was absolutely adorable. Jen and Nate are high school sweet hearts who have been planning on getting hitched for quite some time. In fact, they were already technically married before the wedding. But, the official celebration was ahh mazing. It was held in the backyard of Jen’s grandparents’ house, complete with a pond, woodsy trail, and Jennifer’s very own tree, which her and Nate were married under. Oh, and did I mention they recently had a baby girl? Chloe’s bright eyes and chubby cheeks are to die for. Besides getting caught in a crazy down pour of rain, the wedding went off without a hitch. Thank you Jen and Nate for letting Jimmy (from Prudente Photography) and I share your day with you.
For the first wedding video I shot this season, I could not have asked for a better couple to work with – nor a better looking! These two are so ridiculously cute together, you can just tell they are going to make each other so happy for the rest of their lives. Everyone in their families was so welcoming and made me feel right at home to be with Lindsay and Chris on their big day. Congratulations to you two! I can’t wait to see how your lives shape in the future.
As a young photographer who is just beginning a career in the wedding business, I believe I will always cherish this wedding. Deanna and Brian had seen my work, seen my wedding photos, but they knew I had never been the lead photographer at a wedding before. They hired me anyways, and I’m so thankful they trusted me enough for the job. I was very fortunate to get Kristyn Ulanday, a phenomenal photographer, to co photograph this wedding with me. I’m extremely happy with the results, and I had an amazing time. It’s great to shoot a wedding for people you have known since you were a little girl. Brian played baseball with my brother growing up, and I played basketball with his two sisters. (They were much better than me!) The way Brian looks at Deanna throughout all the photographs is truly touching, and I can’t wait to see where their lives take them.
manda and I went to high school together and cheered together for a couple seasons. When her and Jeff decided to take a chance on me to be my first couple to hire me for an engagement session, I was so excited (and so nervous)! We walked around Seaport by the water for this session. The sun was very bright, and it was a bit windy but overall we had a great time. Jeff was a good sport! And, they even hired me to do their wedding in August! Congratulations you two!
